MDP's Favorite Met Gala 2018 Looks

My Favorite time of the year is when the Met Gala comes! The Met Gala always brings out the best fashion. It’s exciting to see what everyone is wearing. With it being the ultimate fashion gala, I can imagine it’s hard to dress for. And with an annual theme, one can easily miss the mark with a look thats comes off as a costume rather than creative and innovative.

This year’s theme didn’t disappoint with challenging celebrities to push their fashion imagination. The 2018 Met Gala was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." Essentially, the  theme focuses on how the Catholic religion has influenced artists and designers in their creativity.

Singer, songstress, business woman---and the constant fashionista, Rihanna co-hosted the 2018 Met Gala with Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour, Donatella Versace and Amal Clooney. I loved the theme and was anxious to see how many would carefully merge fashion and religion in a compelling, respectful way. I was amazed how many werked it! So with no further introduction, here are the looks I felt reigned supreme from Met Gala 2018.
