TheModeLife Launches MODEwatch for FNO!!!

TheModeLife (TML) is a collective movement of women who express their own honest perspectives on life with their daily article posts. TheModeLife consists of over 35 writers located across the United States. They write about topics that vary between health and beauty to parenting and travel.

With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week being literally a week away that means that Fashion's Night Out events are just around the corner too! And TheModeLife (TML) is joining in on the fashion event with the launch of its MODEwatch!

MODEwatch is a new feature by TML that allows contributors to capture photos of people and things that demonstrate "Real Style". The campaign slogan is "Will you make the MODEwatch?"

TML teams will search for people with unique and authentic beauty during the Fashion's Night Out events in the cities of Grand Rapids, Austin, New York, and Chicago! The photos will then be posted to TheModeLife's official website.

MODEwatch is a way to celebrate beauty and the create more awareness for FNO.

Arts, Beats, & Eats 2011

Summer is coming to an end but what better way to celebrate than a eventful festival for the whole family to enjoy?! The annual Arts, Beats, & Eats is returning for its 14th year ,just in time, for Labor Day Weekend, 9/2 - 9/5. Guests to the event can expect more than 200 performers , delicious food from nearly 70 restaurants, and plenty of events, including arts and crafts for all to enjoy.

Olga's Kitchen, California Pizza, Gayle's Chocolates, Bert's BBQ, Bahama Breeze, and Trenton Ice Cream are just a few of the restaurants that guests can expect yummy cuisine from. You can view the event line up by clicking here. The festival's hours are 11a.m. to 11p.m. ,Friday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 9p.m. on Monday.

Detroit Jazz Festival 2011


Jazz lovers get ready because it's that time of the year again! The Detroit Jazz Festival returns to Downtown Detroit for labor day weekend, 9/2 - 9/5. The annual festival will stretch from Hart Plaza to Campus Martius Park. As always, the line up of performers are impressive.

This year's performers include Curtis Fuller, Kimmie Horner, Dave Holland Octet, Amina Figarova, Los Gatos, Kevin Eubanks, and so many more!! The Detroit Jazz Festival Orchestra will cap off the last day of jazz event. Click here for the complete, daily DFJ 2011 schedule.

Detroit Fashion Week is literally weeks away--are YOU ready?! Detroit Fashion Week 2011 will take place 9/18 - 9/24. Now in its 17th year, The Woodward Dream Cruise returns to Woodward Avenue and the eight communities of Berkely, Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac, and Royal Oak. The much- anticipated, annual event will take place August 20th , 9a.m. to 9p.m. There's no fee to cruise or observe so it's easy to participate or merely marvel at all the classic beauties as they roll by!
