DIY Street Fair
Where can you find unique local musicians, enjoy the best local cuisine, and beautiful art? The DIY Street Fair,of course! This year’s DIY Street Fair because there’s plenty of fun activities for the public to enjoy in the hear of Ferndale.
The DIY Street Fair takes place in Ferndale on E. Troy Street on 9/17-9/19. Per usual, the DIY invites local bands, artists, crafters, businesses, brewers, and restaurants to open their doors to the public for this annual 3-day event. This year's musical lineup includes 43 musicians. American Mars ,The Blueflowers , Jason Drake, and Volebeats are among the list of performers set to perform this year. Howe’s Bayou, The Fly Trap, Club Bart, Wab,Moo Moo’s, and The Emory are the seven local restaurants that will participate.
There’s even a Kids Zone that will feature several fun items for children to enjoy that include are but not limited to a puppet theater and “Arts and Scraps”. If that’s not enough, there are an assortment of artists, crafters, and organizations to view and purchase from at the Marketplace. Attendance is free.
