Art, Beats, & Eats 2010

The Ford Arts, Beats & Eats returns for its 13th year this Labor Day weekend,9/3-9/6!! Arts, Beats, & Eats is an annual summer festival by Oakland County that celebrates art, music, and tasty food. The festival is presented by Citizens Bank and has moved to downtown Royal Oak this year. The art ranges from ceramics and glass to wood and sculptures in the Juried Fine Art Show. There will be plenty of music to listen to and enjoy in various genres with more than 200 performances on 10 stages. From pop to rock, Art,Beats, & Eats has it all. The eats are pretty impressive too. 53 restaurants will serve up their best cuisine at the festival (Sangria Tapas Cafe,Mezza Mediterranean Grille ,Coldstone Creamery , and D'Amato's are among this year's participants).

The hours are from 11:00a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from Friday, 9/3 through Sunday,9/5. On Labor Day,9/6 the hours are 11:00 a.m. to 9:00p.m.The city of Royal Oak offers several parking structures and lots for attendees with a fee of $15 per day. However, Royal Oak High School and Hazel Park Raceway are also offering parking for $10 per car and a free shuttle to and from the festival. For additional parking information,click here.
