Make a statement in true Detroit style while supporting a worthy cause with
The Detroit Caliber Collection. The Detroit Caliber Collection is a line of jewelry that was created with a purpose. The Caliber Collection has 7 different lines with Detroit being among one of the lucky places in the country to have its own line. Launched in 2012, the Caliber Collection was created by
Jewelry for a Cause by founder and the designer, Jessica Mindich.
Mindich is a former lawyer and mother of two from Connecticut looking to make a difference in this crisis that is devastating America. She says, “The idea behind Caliber was to take illegal guns, weapons of destruction and hate, and transform them into something positive. By joining forces with the City of Detroit, we are using the serial numbers from 50 premise guns and the metal from shell casings to create a line of jewelry that will help take more illegal guns off the streets of this great city.”

Proceeds from the sale of each Detroit Caliber Collection item goes back to the city to fund future efforts to reduce illegal gun violence in Detroit. The Detroit collection currently includes bangles, cuff bracelets, and cuff links. Each piece has a style that is as unique and as edgy as Detroit. The designs are truly spot on. I love the cuff links and the bangles with diamonds the most. Honestly, I find the entire collection and cause amazing.
