This is the season and year for warm, stylish outerwear and therefore it’s important to be prepared for the temperature drop. Here are six outwear styles a fashionista should have in her closet for the chaging season.

1) Leather Jacket

A leather jacket is a seasonal staple. Don’t have one? Get one!

2) Capes

Capes are dramatic and fiercely, stylish. They can add as little or as much as warmth as you wish during the season. They are not easy to find but are totally worth the shopping trip!

3)Overcoat

Overcoats are trending this season. They are perfect for the extra cold days and come in assortment of colors.

4) Peacoat

Peacoats are a great alternative to the leather coat and versatile for work and play during after hours.

5) Down/ Parka Coat

 A down coat or parka must be in your closet when you live in Michigan. After all a fashionista can not let a little or ton of snow get in her way. Invest in at least two reliable, fashionable down or parka coats for the season. It will be your best friend for the winter!
