Michigan Designer, Camille Jeanay heads to Dubai

Local designer, Camille Jeanay  has made quite a splash in the fashion industry at a young age. She was a finalist to be cast on Project Runway season 10, this year’s Heart of Fashion Award Winner and a nominee for Fashion Group International  Detroit Women’s Ready-to-Wear Collection. She,  also has her own clothing company, Camille Jeanay Clothing Company.

Camille Jeanay is looking to expand her horizons further into the fashion industry. Jeanay has now been asked to participate in a fashion showcase in Dubai as the youngest and only African American participant. She will also be representing all of America.

Jeanay will debut the Fashion in Wonderland Collection: High Fashion Winter Design on the multiple award-winning cruise ship, Costa Atlantica, in the City of Gold, Dubai January 17, 2013.

J Winter Fashion Show, will be held for the very first time aboard the Italian multiple award-winning cruise ship, Costa Atlantica, in the City of Gold, Dubai. This unique fashion show will feature major  collections by top designers from five continents and welcome celebrated international press and influential faces from various industries.

However, Jeanay will need assistance in raising funds to cover the cost of travel to Dubai and participation in the showcase. Her goal is to raise $10,000 in donations. Donations can be as big as a dollar or as small as a hug to show your support for her. To make a donation and support Jeanay’s efforts.
